Bundjalung Minjungbal Art & Kultcha Event
Crabbes Creek Hall 7-9 July 2022
3 days of Kultcha, language, musicians, dancers, fire, smoking ceremonies, yarning and sharing circles, jar jums (kids) sessions, weaving and an art exhibition. This event is a fundraiser to build a Bunjalung Minjungbal Healing Centre on country for Indigenous people Australia wide.
Each day starts with a smoking ceremony at 10am. Thursday is the Official Opening of the Art Exhibition, with some artists in attendance. Each morning from 10.30am-12.30pm, there is a Kultcha program for jar jums (kids) and parents.. The afternoon features activities around the fire and includes musicians playing across 2 stages. Friday and Saturday night goes to late with bands in the hall and fires outside. Entry By donation. ($15 recommended. $40 family) Indigenous people free. |

PROGRAM
Each day starts with a smoking ceremony at 10am followed by morning Kultcha activities and a program for jar jums (kids). The afternoon features activities around the fire and includes musicians playing across 2 stages. Many more informal activities and Kultcha will be shared throughout the day. The goal is to get people to sit down on the ground and experience Kultcha.
