               MY FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY

Picture
MY FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY is a film about hope, survival and friendship. A blackfella music documentary road adventure like no other. Keith Aitken is the glue that links two worlds together, the old and new, the black and white. He is not on about ‘white guilt.’ He looks to a future, celebrating the best of both cultures. The product of a white father and a black mother. He himself is the reconciliation.

Keithie started his life with his mouth shoved full on tobacco, put in a plastic meat bag and left in the desert sun. He was rescued by his 5 year old brother. Keith is a Yankunytjatjara man from the APY Lands, 'the Mick Jager of the desert', who with no birth certificate is on a quest for a passport and to become an Australian Citizen.

If he becomes an 'Aussie' come & be part of Keith's First Birthday party.
