ESCAPE FROM WORRYVILLE a show for teenagers made by teenagers
Two young boys from radically different backgrounds meet outside the door of the Principal’s office, both on suspension but for different reasons. Over a weekend their stories collide and their lives take a turn for the better. Comedy and tragedy combine in this uplifting feel-good story of hope and empowerment exploring issues of worry, sadness and belonging.
Full-On Theatre’s highly experienced collaborators Dave Houston and Andy Jans-Brown developed “ESCAPE FROM WORRYVILLE” with over 70 teenagers and a team of health professionals in an exciting collaborative project in partnership with Family Life SHINE team, School Focused Youth Services, The Royal Children's Hospital, Zeal Theatre and Westall, Parkdale & Sandringham Secondary Colleges.

It's great to see a show that touches on the tough topics. Great job - funny as well and great actors.

Excellent, well put together show that relates to the students and things that are happening in school and here life.
Scott Solimo. Years 7-9. Wangaratta High School. VIC. 24 May 2012.
Very relevant to the students. Some of the issues would directly relate to their lives. Hopefully they will take away some of the important points of the performance. The performers were very good. Their ability to switch between characters and maintain the storyline was well done.
Kylie Wealands Years 7 to 9. Wangaratta High School. VIC. 24 May 2012.
The production was really relevant and covered so many issues about mental health. Amazing that two blokes can play all these characters so well. They are so talented. The production had so many facets with the music, props and sound effects.
Susan Smith. Years 7 to 10. Belconnen High School. ACT. 30th May 2012.
A play that students could definitely relate to. Student attention was totally focused on the performance. Clearly pinpoints adolescent behaviours . friendships, family issues and pressures etc. Strong performances. Engaging, extremely funny dialogue and acting, fantastic interacting with the students.

Great show, with lots of humour and moments of poignant tradgey; the audience took it all in, and left with plenty to think about.
